If we were still in PL, getting similar gates to WBA and a similar income you can bet that the boy wonder wouldn't have sorted that one out.

2 things -
1) there’s not one single person in the history of football who would say we’re a bigger club than West Brom.
2) Most footballers would rather live in Birmingham than Hull.

So yes, your point is correct.

Did I say we were a bigger club? I said with similar gates and income we wouldn't have fixed up a deal like this.
So yes, my point was correct.
It is others on here who think we are a bigger club with more history and more deserving of success than clubs who were founder members of the Football League and which have won titles, cups and European trophies.
Someone was describing WBA as a yo yo club the other week. They have spent 79 years in the top flight, only 3 less than Chelsea or Spurs.

I don't believe anyone would prefer to live in Birmingham rather than Hull. Or prefer it to living anywhere else.
Except perhaps Middlesbrough.

No you didn’t and I never said you did. I was confirming your point is correct. The reason I posted was really to say it wasn’t really a point to make, even without Ehab in charge we can’t compete with them.

Birmingham is light years ahead of Hull, sadly.

Went through it last year, first time I have been in the centre for a while. Like a giant building site and absolutely soulless. Absolutely awful. Didn't like it when I spent some time working there nearly 50 years ago and would like it just as little nowadays.

You’re not a footballer with 30k plus a week in your pocket to spend.
