He's black so he won't know the laws in this country. We should let him off and apologise to him. It'll be Jonathan Forte, he ****ing loves him does Adkins. I would have said Jason Puncheon, but he's awaiting trial for possession of a weapon and provocation of violence. So that one isn't happening.

They haven't had a bid accepted.

Remember seeing us play in Brighton about 15 years ago when we were both in the old 4th division. Think Zamora scored their winner. Anyway, they had the buckets out collecting for us. Nothing to dislike there. Always enjoyed my trips to Brighton.
I remember that too - over the years their fans have put up with plenty of ****ery from crooked, bent owners; I wonder how many of us would have done 150 mile round trips for every home game if our owners had left us with nowhere to play? I don't mind Brighton, they're proper fans who put their hands in their pockets when we were struggling.
Didn't they get a game abandoned back in the day when they were losing. Played again and won. Sending Hereford down in their place.I remember that too - over the years their fans have put up with plenty of ****ery from crooked, bent owners; I wonder how many of us would have done 150 mile round trips for every home game if our owners had left us with nowhere to play? Ye they had a three point deduction hanging over them from the previous season but the fa, with a lot of luvvies lobbying, went against their own ruling and on.y gave them a two point deduction. As it turned out that was enough to save them.No game abandoned - just a two point deduction for a protest pitch invasion. Wiki says:-
Brighton's league form steadily improved under Gritt, although their improving chances of survival were put under further threat by a two-point deduction imposed as punishment for a pitch invasion by fans who were protesting against the sale of the Goldstone ground. A lifelong fan named Dick Knight took control of the club in 1997 having led the fan pressure to oust the previous board following their sale of the club's Goldstone Ground to property developers.
By the last day of the season, after being 13 points adrift at one stage, they were off the bottom of the table and had to play the team directly below them, Hereford United – the game was in their hands. If Brighton won or drew, they would be safe. Brighton defender Kerry Mayo scored an own goal in the first half and it looked as though their 77-year league career was over. But a late goal from Robbie Reinelt saved the day, Brighton retained their league status on goal difference, and Hereford's 25-year league run was instead over.
"There is no fee, no bid, there have been no talks." - Brendan Rodgers
Well I’d wait and see. I’d deny it too, lest it drive up interest in him.
If they have actually accepted a bid from Brighton, wouldn't driving up interest be exactly what they want?
