Overrated knob jockey. Put a brain in him and you might have a footballer. Flatters. To. Deceive. He'll languish in the Chelski ressies. He's a slightly better signing than Michael Hector but he's hewn from the same block of ****e.
I wonder if the allams will buy this transfer seen as he wont see them play because noboby wants him at the club ?
If you just keep looking at this one then many more pages, try looking at the City transfer thread. https://www.not606.com/threads/jan-2018-city-transfer-thread.356804/page-5#post-11300974 P.S. But still no news.
Off Sky CITY WANT MAGUIRE Manchester City want Harry Maguire from Leicester and are ready to make an incredible £50m bid, The Sun on Sunday reports. The newspaper says that Pep Guardiola has been impressed with the defender, and wants to bring in another centre-back that will be eligible to play in the Champions League.
BREAKING: Riyad Mahrez will have a medical with Liverpool today. He will sign on a 4-year deal, until June 2022. The transfer fee will be €55m [Various]
If this is the case then surely Pep has not done his duties properly. He could’ve signed him 6 months ago for a third of the quoted price but he’s only interested in signing ‘big players from big clubs’. Seriously, when did he last pick up a raw talent at a bargain price? When he did he ever pay anything other than a huge price? He really does show that he’s only ever managed sides with unlimited budgets.
He doesn’t sign many, but the last was 21 year old attacking midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko from F.C. Ufa for £1.7m last season.
You'd think so. If there is one though it will probably be a bonus for the Allams and won't find its way into the transfer kitty.
I personally think they'd have been better spending £35 million on Sanchez... brings more too the table than Mahrez...
Daft post. They didn't want or need him in the summer, they need him now to cover for injuries. The price is inflated because of who they are and the fact it's January not the summer. Why sign an unproven, raw talent on the cheap when you can buy the best? They're competing in four competions, they don't have time to develop a player if they want to win and they need to win if he wants to keep his job.
Oh so he thought they wouldn’t get any injuries? And I very much doubt the price is inflated because of who is supposedly interested in him or the fact it’s January. If Utd or Arsenal tried to sign him in July Lester wouldn’t sell him for cheaper. And Harry hasn’t improved since Lester signed him, he was already very good. In case you hadn’t noticed. Comparitively, when at Inter Jose signed Lucio on a free transfer and Sneijder, who Bayern and Real Madrid were desperate to get rid of respectively, and Genoa journeyman striker Diego Milito for comparative peanuts. He then won the treble, including UCL. And it was me who made the daft post.
Of course they expected injuries, that's why they started the season with more than one CB, when you're still in four competions and you're getting thin in a particular position it would be idiotic not to sign someone. They'll have tracked Harry for a while, certaily whilst he was playing for us, they've not just come up with his name on a whim, but signing him for £50 million and not £17 million doesn't matter in the slightest to them. You seriously going to use Jose to make your point? Pep has signed players for half the price that are out performing some of Jose's united signings.
