According to Kent Live Chelsea are interested in signing Josh Magennis. Having turned away from Carroll and Crouch for whatever reasons, Chelsea have apparently decided not to bother looking at any big blokes from Championship level and have gone straight for the cream of League One, in the shape of JM. Presumably they have not been following his recent form.
Heard today we've gone back to Everton to look at getting Lookman on loan for the rest of the season now Walcott has come into their side
Agreed, but we've approached Everton rather than them looking to get him out on loan. Everton fan who told me today is really fuming about it as he rates him and cannot understand why he couldn't even get on the bench on Saturday when the 'headless chicken' that is Bolasie gets game time despite him obviously not being fit post injury.
Michal Zyro, which would put the Lookman loan to bed. Just back from a broken knee and far too good for League One. Excellent signing of a Polish International from Wolves. Let's just hope he's fit enough to get straight in the team. He could be what we've been missing all season.
Mavididi has worked out well so far, hopefully Zyro will too. Any long term considerations are irrelevant with the takeover situation hanging over everything. If Zyro can boost our promotion chances even a bit, then good luck to him.
Something similar was mentioned when we signed 'Polish Pete' Remind me, how many times did he make the first team? Polish reporter mentions that he has a 'wooden technique' As was the Danish player who was 6'7 who played for us, then left for Preston, whatever happened to him?, no wonder English lads feel let down, give them a go before importing foreigners to our team...... He will be gone by the end of April, the same way as Doodoo went, Robinson said the same thing about him when he arrived........!!.
Charlton Athletic have signed Poland forward Michal Zyro on loan from Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season. The 25-year-old former Legia Warsaw man joined Wolves in January 2016 before suffering a lengthy knee injury. "Michal is tall, athletic, has range in his movement and will offer something that we have not got," Addicks boss Karl Robinson told the club website. Zyro added: "Charlton is a very big, famous club. It is a good move for me." "Now I want to prove to everyone that I am healthy and show my abilities on the pitch," Zyro, who has four caps for his country.
Interesting that Robinson is putting his 47p January loan budget into attacking players. He does love a No.9 and a winger does Robbo, although not so much a conventional target man. It’s even dawned on Mitty-Murray that “Josh needs some help”, about 4 months after he helped turn a useful lower league striker into Muffin the Mule through overwork. I wonder whether our defence could do with another player? Konsa likely to leave. Bauer, Pearce & Solly very injury prone. Lennon not really good enough.
I hate that "number 9" is now a term amongst fans thanks to el gobbo. It's just a target man. How long until we have a "2" for right back?
Oh well, looks like Kaikai isn't coming in from Palarse after all. Gutted I am... http://londonfootballnews.co.uk/cry...stal-palace-unable-reach-agreement-loan-deal/ Charlton are apparently looking at 'back up' options. For pity's sake - back-up options to this bloke?
Does anyone know what is happening about Konsa ? Murray seemed to suggest he was going in January. Surely we won’t leave it until too late to buy a replacement
