Rich Cawley has Tweeted today that Charlton want to loan Konsa back for the rest of the season. It’s almost as if he has been sold already. Every penny of any Konsa fee must be invested back in the team, especially strikers.
Are you kidding? However much we get for Konsa, the most I am hoping for is a loanee striker, if that.
It's pathetic, makes me wonder how they kept hold of Holmes. No doubt some will be wetting themselves over a transfer fee. Maybe we could just give them a spreadsheet to look at?
Can't help feeling that Sheff Utd will get Holmes in Jan.... The blades were worried in the summer about how they would perform in the Champ, can't help feeling that they will push the boat out next month!
Two or three Charlton players had decent games last night, but the only player who was constantly on the verge of bursting a blood vessel from pure effort was Ricky Holmes. And he hardly ever gives less than that much. If the rest of the team are going to carry on moving so poorly off the ball, he is bound to wonder why the hell he is wasting his time.
Josh Magennis got a bit of a slating on Charlton social media last night. I feel for the bloke. He has got a heavier first touch than Pardew in a nightclub, but he gives 100% every game even when he is struggling. He needs a strike partner - BWP- type poacher to play off him, and he needs a credible reserve who can enable to rest when needed .
He gives 100%, but he played hard ball in the summer for a new and improved deal, but I don’t think he’s pushed on since.
And when the CEO is presented with the list she can stick her fingers in her ears and go "na na na na na na na na na na na na "
i'd put some sort of movement coach at the top of the list. one thing apparent from last night was that whenever one of our players has the ball, the rest stop moving.
It gives me such a warm feeling that if Dijksteel leaves then the Belgian Bum will make a very good profit http://www.kentlive.news/sport/football/football-news/charlton-athletics-dutch-ace-already-858765 "Ground Control to Major Clive, your circuits dead there's something wrong!...can you hear me Major Clive ...... can you hear me Major Clive?"
Blimey. No disrespect to Dijksteel, he is a fine young player. But he has kicked the ball about five times for us this season. If they change the rules of the Crossbar Challenge so the fan taking the kick has to wear full home kit, I expect Everton will probably want to buy him as well. By the way, I fear the novelty has worn off our world-famous half-time entertainment. When it was announced on Tuesday, the resulting 'cheer' sounded like a couple of dozen people suddenly remembering they had an appointment next day to have their wisdom teeth pulled out.
Or indeed Meire's legendary #seaofred ... I'm sure we all remember that one. She has her sea of red now of course - 20,000 empty seats at every home game. Apologies for straying off-topic. I don't actually have any transfer news. But best of luck to Dijksteel wherever he goes next.
