As a business I’m not sure how much the revenue will drop. Selling players would mean less wages being paid and in theory more money in the bank.

The customer base & revenue would definitely shrink even further - at least this season. Even the ST holders face the prospect now of 4 months of meaningless games.

Think the customer base will remain flat. Think that was the case between last season and this?

Strange as it may seem, we are still close enough to get a play-off place.

Granted I would not bet on this happening.

Serves the c**** right for renewing!

it doesnt make business sense for him to hold on to us till summer. we're losing £1m a month that he has to cover. if we sell everyone between now and then, we wouldnt make that back. he has to sell everyone now and the club in the next two weeks for him to walk away with any cash.

if he did that, then i'd hope the rest of the card money would be spent on one last protest at the old gits house, horses heads etc..

3% interest... but if he ends up having to write the money off then what good is that?.... Would you lend any money to Carillion at present....No thought not.

But he’s still selling assets whilst paying a loan with interest. He might not get that full amount but he’s made decent wedge in transfers and seemingly looking to cash in on the remaining assets.

But in truth, we have no idea what he’s thinking.

Final paragraph sounds good, but at the Sint-Truiden ground.

I’m not sure the “debt management” reason Robinson gave for selling Holmes is credible.
Like a lot of things Robinson says.

Given that the new owners acquiescence was given in selling him, presumably they would know they had to replace our most creative player before the end of January.

The only fee figure I have seen given for Holmes - from a Sheff Utd social media source - is a fee of £650,000.

That’s about half of one months operating losses at Charlton.

Yeah it didn’t make sense to me. Plus I don’t think robbo would speak like that

We are being linked in the Newshopper with Anthony Stokes, the ex Hibs striker.

Holmes must have been earning more than we thought.

Hibs say he can go for free. Personally I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

One website saying we could get Stokes on loan with a view to making it permanent after the takeover. He's having problems at the moment (perhaps another TWWW) but he does score goals!
