It does seem strange that Alex McLeish would be there as a guest of Murray.

McLeish would be a massive upgrade on Robinson.

Mcleish has been to the valley several times over the last 18-24 months.

Couldn’t answer that. It’s not anything new though.

Putting 2 and 2 together to probably make 5, KR mentioned recently about having a scout in Scotland. It’s possible Mcleish does a freelance role for one or several clubs. Alternatively he could be scouting Charlton for someone else. Just guesswork though.

Mc Leish, I believe, is scouting.

    Newshopper today -

They have been told that Metz want to re-sign Ahmed Kashi, who is likely to leave Charlton this summer anyway.

That’s good of him, after we paid him for doing f*ck all for 2 years !

Why would he want to stay at a **** league 1 club that managed his injury so abysmally?

Leaving a sinking ship, springs to mind. It really is depressing being a Charlton supporter.

The fact we financed his rehabilitation in Dubai does leave a sour taste somewhere. That said, when he signed he was playing in a Champiknship side that finished mid table prior.

He’s now at. League one club who aren’t looking like a promotion candidate in the immediate future, with an owner who’s openly admitted he wants out. It’s not a stable environment, and am I right in thinking the club haven’t opened talks with him yet?

Throw in the fact he will probably still be harbouring international ambitions, then I think it’s a safe bet to assume he will move on.

Kashi's a funny one, great in his first 5-6 games of 2015-16 then got injured. People raved about him this season but he fizzled out badly after a few games, he gives the ball away far too often IMO.

All that Kashi, Sarr and Bauer do is remind me of our humiliating relegation farce of 2015-16.
It doesn't matter how much or how little each one was involved, it's just how I perceive them.
Each of them has played OK from time to time but I feel nothing about any of them, and would not miss them either.

The only Duchatelet era player I regret losing was Gudmundsson.

Never rated Bauer. Don’t rate Pearce either to be fair - hence why konsa going worries me more.

Aaron Barnes has gone to Torquay on loan. That will save Roly another £8 a week.

    Thoughts @ForestHillBilly @DickPlumb ?

Why can't Barnes sit on the bench tomorrow?

Of course there is a danger that the prospective buyers tell Duchatelet to f*** off with his demands and they walk away.

If RD does a quick fire sale then the value of the club drops.

But if he stays another 6 months the value drops too ?

Fewer good players on the books, a smaller customer and revenue base, and even more debt as a result.
