Agreed, Delap didn’t get many though… but his style meant we as a team scored more. Don’t think we can say that about Oscar.

in the top 11, 3 teams have scored less than us, so which games were the others scoring in?
Allsopps good with his feet but not great at shot stopping, I’d take a goal keeper that can save a ball and a striker who can score goals over anything else they can do.

Makes no sense, you made a generic comment about taking a striker who scores goals over a striker that doesn't score as many. So again, by that logic, you'd take Oscar over Delap?
We haven't even seen Pandur play yet, he might be rubbish with his feet and his hands for all we know.
Why the arguing over Oscar ? He has gone and won't be playing for us again. We avoided relegation with him last year and now we are in the playoffs without him.

Exactly this. Rosie hasn't really fancied him since he got stupidly/unluckily (take your pick) sent off in LR's first game away at Millwall. And when he did play for him, in the games I saw he failed to keep possession in the way Rosenior wants. The Bahia deal is a good one if we get money for someone the manager doesn't fancy who we picked up on a free.
I never actually said I’d take Oscar over delap, I said id take a goal scorer over a player that plays a certain role.
I don’t rate Oscar and seen as Rosie binned him, Metz binned him and in his prime he’s playing in Brazil. I’m not the only one that doesn’t rate him

Definitely unlucky in my book. It was a ridiculous decision imo for something that was 100% unintentional and that he couldn't have seen coming. Since then I've seen loads of raised boots that have gone totally unpunished which were potentially far more dangerous than what Oscar did.
Anyway, history. I liked Oscar, and he seemed to like us (as in being here) but we move on.
I agree with this, just get tired of the goals argument people use for Oscar when, realistically, Delap is twice as good - If we had to get 1 back for the play-offs, both fully fit, think you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who'd rather Oscar.
