If Giles and Ömür have obligations to buy in the summer each in excess of £4 million, I wonder if that limits spending in other areas next summer. There will be gaps come summer with Morton, Delap and Carvalho going back to their parent clubs + the likelihood of us not extending some out-of-contract players.

I think if we don’t go up this season, we’ll finally sell Greaves for a big fee.

Not so sure, I think we're just bringing forward business for next window. Omur and Giles effectively being permanent deals, plus this unnamed winger, means it's really just Ohio/Delap and Morton we'd need to replace as loanees which wouldn't be too difficult. Having now 'sorted' GK, LB, and the wing positions (I put in quotations because we haven't actually seen these players play) there doesn't need to be as much turnover or incomings in the summer, it's really just a CM or two plus a striker or two that we'd need.
