Whilst defending himself to some guy on Twitter, he said we are on the cusp of signing the winger so it must be pretty close to happening.
 
If Giles and Ömür have obligations to buy in the summer each in excess of £4 million, I wonder if that limits spending in other areas next summer. There will be gaps come summer with Morton, Delap and Carvalho going back to their parent clubs + the likelihood of us not extending some out-of-contract players.

I think if we don’t go up this season, we’ll finally sell Greaves for a big fee.

If we do go up we’ll probably be shopping in a more exclusive store.

If Philogene picks up where he left off, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go. The lad backs himself and will want to be at the highest level, Greaves perhaps more inclined to give us longer due to club attachments.
