I mentioned it the other but we should be looking at the three young Peterborough forwards if we are looking for wingers with pace. Ricky-Jade Jones, Kwame Poku and Ephron Mason-Clark all have pace to burn and all have decent goal contributions for the last couple of seasons. Not suggesting we sign all three but one of them would be a decent signing. They’re all far better than Lokilo.

I would absolutely take Kwame Poku, he’s a great talent. Palace looking at him.

Dion Charles is also a player I think we’ll be looking to bring in for the striker position, he’s having a great season for Bolton. Colby Bishop at Pompey also doing well.

Which is why you shouldn't skimp on it, do it properly. We know we have a striker at the club that works in our system, so we should spend the money to keep him here.

I dont disagree with what you're saying more than that just pointing out that people would complain if we spent mega bucks and he didn't score. It's not an exact science of just throwing money at it and hoping that alone fixes it

Sure not saying we should have spent 10m on Delap last summer, but rather now that he's a known quantity, all the more reason to go all out for him than guess on another striker next summer.

For the record, he wouldn't be that expensive provided Man City get a bit back in sell on clauses. We'd have to do it in the Summer, when we'll have more FFP headroom after Allahyar and Sinik have gone, but in a twisted way I think the injury might benefit us if it stops other clubs signing him and slightly lowers his value.

Will Ally be gone permanently in the summer? Think he'll still have two years on his deal then so would be tough to get someone to buy out his contract.

I think he's done as long as Rosenior is in charge, which is a shame because I think at Championship level he's a talented player to have. If he has a good season at Fortuna, he'll probably go there permanently.

Oh I have no doubt he's finished with us, as is Sinik, just whether we find someone to take them off our hands. I suppose there's always back to Turkey..

So is Allahyar on big money?

All these speedy strikers that are being mentioned.. Surely theyre scoring goals because of the service they get or the system they play. A step up to Championship is a big one as Scott Twine has proved and indeed some of the original Acun signings... Id rather as Sys said go all in on Delap and build the team around him.

Allsop isn't a wasted signing just because we're now bringing in a young long term option. Allsop was cheap and was always going to be a shorter term solution.

Honestly it's as if people think we can just sign 11 23-24 year olds who will play for us for the next ten years.

Re. Allsop. Was he? Did Rosenior or Tan tell you that? Rosenior brought him in as his new No. 1. He's now having to replace him because he's not good enough for top end Championship which is where we were aiming.

What the hell has that last sentence got to do with anything I said, or anybody else for that matter. Answer = nothing.

We haven't even signed him yet and you've already made him our No.1. He's far more likely to be replacing Ingram than Allsop and though he'll no doubt hope to be our number 1, he's got to prove himself first.

Maybe so (but I doubt that). I'm far from on my own though. Time will tell.

He's been brought in as a #1. What happened with Ingram/allsop will happen again... Allsop will continue for a few games then the change will be made imo

Pandur definitely should be brought in as #1, otherwise there’s no point. Ingram is a decent shot-stopper and average with his feet. Allsop is decent with his feet and is an abysmal shot-stopper. Pandur is better than both and has a higher ceiling than both. Fortuna fans rate him highly and I think he could’ve gone for €5-10 million to a Serie A, French or newly-promoted Prem team in the summer. How we’ve got him for £1.5 million is anyone’s guess. It’s a steal. There must be some catch like Acun forgiving debt owed to him from his previous stake in Fortuna, a high sell-on percentage and/or Allahyar going the other way on loan.
