Interesting that Sharp has said in an interview that he wanted to sign for us in the summer but LR decided against it then, before he instead went to LA.

Certainly looks like we were happy to rely on youth in attack and have changed our mind on that over the months that have followed.

Looks like we thought like we were getting a slightly more experienced Davis at the time, to me.

I think he said it wasn't a priority, Im hoping thats because a LB and a winger is priority but a CM is still on the cards.
 
Benson makes the most sense. Good news potentially being Southampton given up and he’s coming for a medical tomorrow?
