The biggest problem for him is if someone wants a quick fix , not sure that’s his bag yet . I think he could go to a club who maybe had a longer term vision and plan plus would give him the resources and support , like he gets here - but as you say a few mill a year might change his mind ! No dea what he’s on here ?

He coaches a very good defence I’d argue. He struggles more with the other end. Most premier league clubs struggle with the former if they are struggling.

He certainly seems to be saying the right things in terms of playing the developmental long game.

I don't think we've got much to worry about whilst he's progressing and adding career value here.

If it starts to stagnate a bit here and a chance to step up comes along, that's when to be worried I reckon.

Given that he's got the support of the chairman, the fans (mostly!) and the players (allegedly), that there's a decent chance of PL football this season or next, that he's expecting support in the Jan xfer window, that he's probably on a decent wedge (500k-1m?) already and that he needs a bit more experience I can't see why he'd go just yet, would seem a little hasty imo.

Just listened. Guessing Ryan Kent

I believe so…but I’m not ITK

edit…there’s a really really nice posh Turkish restaurant in Fulham that I use, the owner claims to be mates with Acun, always keen to talk about city & he told me last week the Kent deal was agreed.

TWT….sorry not as solid as snooker hall info, best I can do!!

I would argue us playing in the PL this season is quite unlikely… ;)

Manor Kebabs at Ruislip Manor, a very fine old school kebab takeaway. Not sure they have connections with Acunmedya though!

"I don't want to go anywhere else and I think everyone knows that. The chairman (Acun Ilicali) knows it, Tan (vice-chairman Tan Kesler) knows it, and the gaffer. I think we're all kind of working together on that. So, yeah, I don't want to play my football anywhere else, and hopefully, you can see on the pitch how much I enjoy it here. I don't know why I would want to go elsewhere," Connolly told Hull Live.

"Hopefully, that'll get sorted. That's something that's kind of out of my hands at the minute. I'm just focusing on playing and I think I've got that relationship with the gaffer and obviously everyone at the club that hopefully we can come to some type of agreement soon."

"He gets me. I played my best football under the gaffer, both at academy level when I was playing with him and also now, so yeah, he's put a lot of trust in me. Like I said with the contract, I'd never, ever want to look elsewhere to play for any other club."
I guess Aaron is perfect for Liam’s management style, just does as he’s told, and never answers back or challenges him,

Tbf, I reckon Rosenior is in those 'bar 1 or 2'.
I fully expect he would want to continue his development with us for at least the next couple of years, then see where we and he is after that.
Ours is a 'project' to get excited about, near unique even?
Some say there is no loyalty in football these days, but I think he would be one of those exceptions to the rule for a while at least.

Disagree. Brighton is the only other club he has ties to, and are a very well run 'project' club as well. If they targeted him as RDZ's replacement (and I have no doubt they have), I think he would go.
