What on earth is daft about saying we have no intention of selling Philogene? Even if for no other reason than to pressure clubs to pay even more.

I remember last summer when Acun said we wouldn’t sell KLP for a penny less than £30 million and he went to Brentford for about £16 million I think that same window.
Not that £16 million is to be sniffed at. That’s a lot of money for a club our size. It’s just comments like that tend to disappoint supporters if they go for much less.
And KLP isn't even worth 16m but we got it. Perhaps because clubs knew they'd have to offer a lot. And in saying that, Acun was saying that in the context of KLP wanting to stay. When he asked to leave the club accommodated him.
As someone else pointed out (and actually I pointed out a few days ago before getting incorrectly corrected) he can't go anywhere in January so Rosenior saying we won't entertain offers isn't really saying anything controversial.

Philogene is decent at this level but knowhere near Prem level prem full backs outside of the bottom 3 would deal with him easily.

KLP was £18m he also got 13 goals in a side under a transfer embargo. Imagine how many he’d get with Delap, Morton etc
I'm a big fan of Ryan Kent having watched him play for Rangers for some time.Hope we can pull this off,he's a silky little player with a big engine and a huge desire in the centre of the park...

Right, he’s a deep-lying playmaker, not a defensive midfielder. His defensive stats are atrocious.
He’s also due to have surgery.
