Seeing his even younger mates play in a cup final plus getting a lot of opportunities this season must leave him wondering a little bit about what he is missing. Especially when it could be a ‘special’ last season for Klopp. Hopefully it’ll make him more determined to kick on here.
Agreed, I also don’t think he’s quite as ready for the step up as some on here seem to think. Personally I think the defensive side of his game needs to go up a level or he’ll get torn apart by some PL forwards. I fully believe he’ll get there, just not sure he’s there yet. I suppose moving to a PL club is the way to learn, there’s a ceiling to what you can learn in the Championship.
Did we ever put a sell on into Robbo's contact. This might just be paper filling of course... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...ayern-Munich-Alphonso-Davies-Real-Madrid.html
Wouldn't have thought so but not sure. Think it'd still help us for FFP which seems the main priority.
Something about Acun. Don’t think he associates himself with second best. Always seems to achieve his goals. Could he be the first chairman to make us a settled Premier league team.
I think he will. I think everyone will have to be patient though and look at the big picture. Although Tan never said it outright, at the live 1904 show he implied the club are prepared to yo-yo a bit as they prepare to be a PL mainstay.
