Derby looking for a defender according to Fat Frank.

We've got a couple that just about be championship standard.

To get back on topic, about 3 years ago we had a major project on at work moving a datacentre. I basically doubled my wages with overtime for about 8 months - don't get me wrong, I had a load of stress and no spare time, but it is part of the job.

When it was over, they wanted to put me and a colleague forward for a 'star award' (American bullshit as my company is US owned) that if you win you get a trip to the US office etc, etc. I told them I didn't want to be part of any of it. Why praise me for doing my job and they had paid for it anyway?

I just don't get it.

Anyway to go off topic, I think we need a striker desperately...more so than a defender.

It would probably take me 2-3 years to earn what he does in a week. I still tip the £1.
I don't expect it of rich people, but I would certainly hope it of decent people.
I very rarely tip. I pay for products and services that are advertised at a price I deem acceptable value. I dont just pay more because certain people expect it or did a good job - thats the employers role. I only tip if someone has been truly exceptional and gone well beyond expectation and genuinely deserves extra thanks.

We had a cab driver on holiday that we had agreed a price with and he offered to take us a scenic route with great viewing points etc. at no extra cost. He was a lovely bloke and improved our day massively - i tipped him because i was genuinely really grateful not because people often tip taxi drivers and felt i should.

Is this Reservoir Dogs? I’ve come about the audition.

At the risk of incurring tight fisted sweaty jibes, my haircut costs me zilich every three weeks - 5 minutes in the man cave with a No3 on the strimmer does it for me ! So I miss a bit sometimes, but that`s `character`, right ?

Damn. Love Gabbi and I hope he kills it in Italy, but if Ralph wants to build a team with different attackers and he needs to go for that to happen, then I'm happy for this move.
