Has Tufan really been a failure?

Kessler alluded to the general 'robustness' of the international signings being an issue for Rosie and they're looking to address that.

So that's a clear enough admission given 'fitness' events really, isn't it?

But for as many that miss with signings there will be as many who stick. Eventually as proved by the number of Molby, Parky and Taylor signings ended up key in Brownies eventual playoff team.

Sinik hasn't had loads of chances but in what time he has had he's done nothing. And as time goes on he's getting less chances, not more, which tells you that the manager isn't impressed. I think because he seemed an exciting signing and we paid a big fee we find it hard to admit that it's just been a failure. Can't help but think if he'd come from League 1 no one would be saying he needs more chances.

He hasn't had many minutes for fans to judge, but he's obviously not earning minutes on the training ground either - otherwise he'd be playing.

According to Nixon city have upped the stakes to get the palace lad, offering to pay all his wages during the loan, that says Nixon has put us out front in the race to sign him. Doesn’t seem so cut and dried to me, taking too long for something like that but I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see
 
Watched MOTD today Viera apparently wanted a close knit ‘robust’ set of players who could see the season out - I think that’s what Rosie wants too , no fragility . Burnley’s highlights show similar play to us but quicker off the mark movement - we’ll get there .

Burnley have the added advantage of having spent more than £30m on transfer fees in the Summer, plus they already had the likes of Jack Cork, Charlie Taylor, Connor Roberts, Josh Brownhill and Jay Rodriguez in there. It's little wonder they're walking the league. That being said, they did recoup over £68m in transfer fees last window.

their turnaround is quite remarkable. they had about 10 players after their exodus. admittedly parachute and incoming fees does help a bit but they did have about 50m of debt
 
How many Malcolms have we had playing for City before?... Immediate thought Malcolm Lord, after that its Sunday and my brain is in 'not today' mode.

I may be wrong, sometimes am, but Burnley's coffers are going to swell a lot more with Weghoorst signing for Manure. I think they sent him out on loan somewhere, I dont think they sold him. That one goal at the WC has made them a fortune

edit..looks like a loan to Manure initially..
