The fact an 18 year old is even spoken of by fans the way he is, is exciting for a fan. Not sure why we have someone laughing he’s gone on loan for a month to play games. Outside the window might I add
Surely it's not that hard to understand!
The laughing (little giggle actually) wasn't aimed at him in any way, it was aimed at those on here who were calling for him to be a starter for us!

You really are getting **** for a sensible post
Who was that out of interest? Didn't remember seeing that.
I can’t remember but plenty were saying it syd

if he was ready for us he’d be on the bench by now

Fair enough, must have missed it. I could imagine people saying he's worth a place in the squad and a go off the bench given his form, would be surprised if anyone said he should be a first XI player but if they did then fair enough.

Don't think the kids and stiffs play many games this time of year?

He'll get 7 or 8 games there in the next month. Just what he needs.

I mean KLP went on loan to Bradford Park Ave (also National League North) and failed to do anything. The following season he played 21 times in the Championship

Jim's 18, and this loan is great for him
Chilton was 17 and Waggy 18. Ok he may not match either but they never looked back.

Expect some tall signings
Only reason Fleming isn’t playing is he is too short according to LR

Well Callum Elder is 5ft 11in and occasionally he gets to warm the bench as a defensive substitute. But with Coyle and Figs on the bench I cannot see Elder or Fleming getting a game unless we have a major run of injuries. I would hope Fleming and Elder's agent will be sorting out some kind of new opportunities for them as I don't think they have much of a future here at the MKM

That explains why Jones played we then have 4 tall guys at the back (Macca is a slight exception) he’s right we will let in less headed goals I think .

Fleming has just signed a new three and a half year deal, he isn't going anywhere. Getting rid of both of our senior left backs would be utter madness.

I’d hope to see Fleming back in the side soon. At 23 he doesn’t have the time to lose, if he doesn’t kick on and equal last seasons form in this second half of the season we need to be looking elsewhere in the summer IMO. Will soon find out if it was KLP that made him look good or not.

Fleming and Elder need to play to get fitness and form improved. Elder is in the final 7 months of his contract and only occasionally makes the bench. Fleming I suspect may get a loan move due to his long contract.

But he is versatile, can play left or right back, centre back or defensive midfielder and he always gives 100%.
Agreed. But if height is the criteria for being part of our back 4, then he is in the same boat as Fleming. (Who also gives 100% when he plays)

He pretty much is in the same boat. Not starting currently while a taller player is playing in his position.
