Not sure what to make of the first paragraph of this??!! Second paragraph suggests that they will be watching carefully over there to see if Rosie can rehabilitate him. (Can't access any further as it is behind a paywall of an Irish national daily).
"Four of the last six men tasked with managing the basket case that is Hull City AFC have not even lasted one full season in the job and two of them lasted only five months. So the recently appointed Liam Rosenior has, it’s fair to say, a task on his hands to try and keep his job.

He has also taken on another challenge, one that has bemused and bewildered a series of coaches for the last four years: trying to turn the talent that is Aaron Connolly into a proper player with a proper career.

Smith’s first goal reminded me of Fryatt. Rounded the keeper then squeezed it into an open net from a narrow angle. Fryatt wasn’t blessed with pace or strength but was a decent finisher. I don’t think I’ve seen Tyler Smith miss a sitter, unless I’m mistaken. I’ve seen Longman and even Óscar miss a few glaring ones though. Tyler Smith might actually be our most composed finisher when it comes to one-on-one situations.

Compare that with say, Darwin Núñez and Timo Werner who manage to get themselves into great positions but can’t finish a one-on-one if their lives depended on it.

Tyler is much better centrally rather than out on the wing IMO.

Dunno why people rate Ozan so highly. He does some good things, but overall he’s been distinctly average. Doesn’t look like a player that’s had 80 odd caps for Turkey.

Yeah he’s not the most technically sound. Imperious in the air though which makes up for it. Can see why premier league sides didn’t take a punt on him as a free agent though, got quite clear gaps in his game that’d make him struggle at present.
I said after the first few games when people were excited as he topped the GS charts that I did not rate him and felt he had been lucky with some of the goals. In hindsight he is better than lucky, he gets in the right places and is a 'handful' but way off what we need to be competing in the Championship for a play off spot for me.
As his goal showed against Wigan he messes up many chances, a better defence than Wigan would have stopped him there. His heading game is his best asset and I have a feeling Rosenior has been trying to use crosses to make the most of that until he finds a striker this month. Smith is a far better finisher but seems to lack pace and positional awareness required to do it consistantly at this very high level. Having Oscar as a bench option to a proper striker would be nice, and I would also only look to loan Smith out at the minute as there is something in him which might develop.

Sinik and Tufan were certainly two of the signings I was most uncertain of so not too surprised to see them as the ones we're looking to move on.

I think that’s a bit harsh on a, near enough, 1 in 2 striker in a bottom half team.

He’s a central player though his movement is non stop. Im not saying he’s the answer but since Ros came in he’s looked better imo. Set Christie on his way for the Brum goal, he keeps the ball pretty well and if you’re chasing a game going 2 up front with his runs in behind you’ll at the very least create chances. I’d keep him around til summer at least after last 2 games.
I think Ros has seen a little something in him and since he came, has given him more minutes. Tyler does seem to have responded. He’s not gonna be a world beater, but maybe (just maybe), he could kick on as a useful squad player (we seem to forget it’s about squads now, not just the first XI.)

it's not surprising Tufan and Sinik are likely to move on, maybe Acun's has now realised his thoughts of bringing in Turkish players aren't that simple. Certain types of players used to the Turkish league are not really suited to the rigours of the Championship. No doubt both have quality, but just lack that physicality you need to really succeed on a regular basis.
