Selling Bowen and Grosicki, subsequent relegation with a 50% pay cut across the board and covid lockdown. All worked out rather well for FFP purposes. I do not know the exact figure. It is, I believe, the somewhat numerically vague, plenty of wriggle room.
As far as grateful, only the fact any borrowings were from themselves. They were never running a football club, only a football related business.
... and finances aside (which are of course very important), running it very badly! What other business goes out of it's way to deliberately insult and piss off it's customers time & again etc?

He seems to have had an issue with it for a few weeks. I noticed it in the Everton game but it may have been an issue before then even.
Yeah, I've mentioned before that our George seems to be a "strap me up and send me out" team player, as evidenced by him carrying an ankle injury last season. I'd rather he wasn't in pain though, and he certainly looked that way on Saturday the way he was carrying his arm. I don't know what the issue is but one wrong shove/fall to the ground could really knacker it badly, so he needs it sorting.

I don't know whether there is anything in this or not, but one or two on Twitter are saying the signing of Liam Walsh is cover for Honeyman, who has a problem with his shoulder. Honeyman definitely had his shoulder injured Saturday, and the signing of Walsh did sort of come out the blue. Maybe nothing in it, but it might be the case. Anyone heard anything?

George has been playing with an injured shoulder for a while now

Shoulder surgery can be tricky and you imagine if they haven't operated yet they maybe expect a long recovery time..But, if it needs to be done this sounds like cover for him, unless they try to see how long he can carry on.

Yep, finances are very important in any business. The decisions that have you outraged, were simply and purely business based. It is quite a leap of faith, and or thinking, to disconnect football club from those decisions. At the time of the irrelevant statement, we, the supporters, were just that. Our contribution set against the prem money flowing into the club was pennies by comparison. In buying the club they were in the hole for about 40 million, after a somewhat roller coaster ride, they sold it with the minus figure more or less the same. Obadiah has given chapter and verse on the monies that passed through the club, half a billion.
My point being, they did very well running their football related business, but ripped the heart and soul out of the club for some.
