Because Fenerbache are a bigger, more successful club than we are and will probably offer him European football, which we can't.

In the summer P'boro were beating us comfortably to players, it's a lot easier to take when we're losing out to Fenerbahce instead.

Fair play to the lad, I'd go there too. He's not had an easy route to the top either

He never played for them did he?
They loaned him back to an Iranian club and wanted them to buy him. I’m only going off wiki
He’s a young kid and will he handle the physicality of the championship?

For me the disappointing thing about all these transfer rumours, apart from them being rumours, is that there hasn't been an experienced centre half amongst them.

“DeAndre Yedlin has already been in contact with one English team, and it is Hull City, sources tell CBS Sports.

Yedlin spoke with sporting director Tan Kesler of Hull City this morning.

Lots of MLS teams also interested.”
Yedlin is a client of Tan Kesler’s agency

Are we playing Snap?

Do we not?

How many players have been in our academy currently playing in the top 4 divisions?

3 currently playing regularly in the premier league? (Although that would include Bowen which is debatable, Daniel James counts for sure).
Yeah we produce a few but not enough for a full 11, local lads complimented with foreign talent would be ideal rather than all foreign.

Oh sorry I thought you were asking about Pesic, it's him that's turned us down for Fenerbahce.

The Iranian lad will fit right in, it'll be like having two KLP's in the side.

Derek Dougan commentating 'great save by Raddy Avaram, Averam, Avram, the goalkeeper!' :emoticon-0100-smile

I always liked "Sporting Lisbon in their green and white hoops look like a team of zebras."

That is included amongst these football classics.https://www.footballfancast.com/opi...-quotes-ever-to-ever-grace-the-beautiful-game

Though you couldn't beat Murray Walker. "His car is totally unique. As is the one behind him which is identical" "Do my eyes deceive me or does Senna's engine sound rough?" "I make no apologies for his absence. I am just sorry he is not here." "He is exactly10 seconds ahead, or more approximately, 9.86 seconds."

I liked the idea of the signing. But going forward is a 29 journeyman striker what we really need?

He’s score 10/15 goals in his league, but he’s failed in most European leagues and we’d have been paying mega money for him.

I went to have a look at this guy on youtube.
Some of his clips were from pitches that looked like they would usually put down jackets and bags to make do for goalposts.

I'm not unhappy with the demise of McCann and the influx of new players, Grant has shown that the championship is a step above his tactical ability and he struggles to achieve any consistency in performance, although its better than 2019/2020 season. I am however also quite apprehensive about the suggested influx of Turkish based players. Its hard to conceive that the Turkish leagues are, and have been an under scouted pool of talented players all waiting for their chance at the big time. We all know with bitter experience that this division is probably one of the hardest in domestic football. On their day anyone can beat anyone and players can get found out quickly. Its great the management team are looking beyond the norm but I hope the new owner doesn't forget that this is not his team, the manager picks the team and identifies the players he needs, regardless of location, not the owner.

I seem to remember we did OK in the 2012/13 season when we had an influx of 3 Egyptian players.
