anyone just see that free kick comoros had what a fantastic goal, they down to 10 men have a defender in goal as they don't have another keeper and were 2-0 down to cameroon.

I'm personally not bothered where they're from, as long as they're good footballers

I'm bothered as players coming from across Europe will take time to adjust and settle into English football (assuming they haven't played in England previously) and I'd rather have players ready to hit the ground running at this point of the season. Happier to take punts in the summer.

Some do, some don't. Often depends on the quality of the player. Need to see who we get through the door first

I'd also like to see some assurance/discussion over the future of our Academy and their ambitions with the Academy.

Id love to see us have a purpose built training ground which houses all the clubs players and helps us really set some great foundations for the future! I've been fortunate to visit, play at and coach at some amazing set ups and we are unfortunately worlds apart from them. It'll cost £10m+ to do it properly but would be worth it in the sort and long term

Anyone think it ended up getting rushed through unexpectedly early?

He seems to have swooped in, done the deal, few small soundbytes and then buggered off again to a backdrop of radio silence. No real interviews, no introductions, nothing. Just speculation and paper talk.

Seems a little odd. Surely addressing the staff, team and fans properly would be number one priority, not a ‘do it when I get round to it’ kind of thing.

If we're spending upwards of 4m on a single player in the first window they're at the club, surely there's 10-15m lying around somewhere that could be earmarked for the training ground development.

I understand what you’re saying, but any transfer is a gamble. Besides I seem to remember Grosicki and Hernandez hitting the ground running.
