The club still has an embargo on transfers until it is sold. Anyone know of any strikers off contact who are good at championship level who are available for the Stoke game?

Eaves would start ahead of Magennis for Stoke anyway after the Everton performance.

They didn't have a choice.

Triggered the 25m buy out clause didn't they?

After that it's just a question of out bidding Burnleys wages.

Here's one we're not having.

I've literally just seen a few posts saying he's going back to Fenerbahce. From all the Turkish reports we've had, I think it's fair to say you can't take much seriously. Always highly unlikely to come to us either way

The EFL have blocked Derby from making any more signings, or extending contracts (Jakielka's extension has just been withdrawn), until the administrators prove they have enough funding to continue until the end of the season.

Jeez, it’s that bad now is it?

Surely the EFL should provide funding to cover for all their mistakes that got them in this mess? It’s all their doing after all.

I really can’t see anyone coming in to buy Derby, the level of debt they’re saddled with (that they have to pay in full) and potential litigations against them makes it a non-starter for most.

Jagielka would surely be a great signing for us. But presumably his wage will be higher than we're paying, at least until the takeover is sorted.

I'm not sure his wage will be that high, as they had fee and wage limits imposed by the EFL when they signed him, but he's still training with them and will probably still be expecting his extension to be sorted before the end of the window.
