For me a striker is necessary. Salach is hugely influential but what if he’s injured? Salach could also do with some competition. He’s scored 12 but he’s missed at least a dozen headed crosses which should have been converted.
My view is if city can get hold of a player who is better than what’s there then go for it. Plus the club need to have one eye on next season if they get promotion.

I wouldn't be unhappy If that were to come off as it would be an overall improvement to our squad with an eye on the Championship next season
