I thought he was needed as LB cover - seems strange unless BBM thinks he's just not ready.................

I suggested that on the weekend when Kpakio swapped sides.
Theres other mention of this on our loaned out player thread. Spiers has joined him at Eastleigh.

Maybe a player incoming? It would be dificult though. Bagan is nailed on to start, so it would have to be a big signing, or someone happy to sit on the bench.

A strangely quiet thread a week into the transfer window - is that a good or a bad thing?
MIxed both ways.

Good that none of the crown jewels have been sold.
Bad that Horvath is still on our books and the youngsters touted for loans havent found homes yet.

Incoming, not a big issue.
LB cover and a pacy winger would be nice. Possibly another striker, but not sure you'd do that unless Robinson moved on.
Im looking at any incomings during this window as a bonus. Would prefer experience over youth.
A bit ironic given the whinging Ive done over all the journeymen we've signed over the years and the youngsters we've ignored.

A pacy winger would do it for me.
Cover for Bagan might be prudent.

If a 'to good to turn down' opportunity arose and it fits the long term strategy, that would be fine. I assume BBM has a long term plan.

It is refreshing to not have a manager saying, 'we need another 3 or 4 signings'.

Wrexham and Swans both got double digit numbers of signings in the summer. Both managers looking for more.

I’ve been banging the drum for the same 3 positions.
For me a striker is necessary. Salach is hugely influential but what if he’s injured? Salach could also do with some competition. He’s scored 12 but he’s missed at least a dozen headed crosses which should have been converted.

My view is if city can get hold of a player who is better than what’s there then go for it. Plus the club need to have one eye on next season if they get promotion.

Davies to go? It’s always disappointing when a local lad goes but it is what it is.

The guy is right as I inferred above that Salech should be on more than 12 this season.

He promises another rumour tomorrow!

Ironic that Isaak scored a cracker in the same game as Castledine scored his from the cut back corner.

However, Isaak worth £2m. I don't think so.

Castledine would be a very good acquisition if we could get him.

Im guessing tomorrow's rumour will be Lisbie from Peterborough.

Ooohĥhh, some gossip and some news.
Horvath to go next.

Moving Robinson wouldnt be a bad thing if we have a replacement in mind.
Hes scored some useful goals to be fair.
