He's been linked with Real Madrid, Juve and Barca so really can't see him signing for Newcastle.

Yeah Adeyemi is definitely in our reach. Not like he is one of the hottest prospects in football or anything
Like I said, not saying we would get him. But it would be good to see the new board showing ambition, even if it was a failed attempt.
Adeyemi is not Bellingham level yet. Bellingham is way further ahead. Adeyemi has got to go somewhere and it makes sense to come to us as a stepping stone like Mane. He certainly needs to go somewhere where he's going to play. He may well end up being Haaland's replacement at Dortmund but now we've got more money we should at least chance our arm.
