Saw that. Sturridge gone back to Bournemouth so another youngster wanted on loan.
We never seem in the game for promising younger players. Perhaps understandable with Warnock but I had hoped Harris would be a more attractive proposition for Prem managers.

Before looking at promising youngsters at other clubs we should have a look at our own......
I know what you are saying Remote, but with the exception of the keeper on loan at Barry, I just don't think ours are good enough.
Management see them in training every day and get reports on their age graded performance. If they were up to Championship level they would have had a chance. I cant see any Ramseys, Ledleys, Earnshaws or even Declan John's amongst them.

Why hasn't Madine gone yet?

If we disposed of them both to the same club, one for a fee and the other free, would it be a Bogleoff? Coat time!!!
I can't see Connolly and Vassell going this window as still recovering from injury.
Other than youngsters being loaned out, who else might go?
I guess we would want to recoup a good chunk of what we paid for Murphy but with his current form who would pay that? If we were offered £5m or thereabouts we should take it.

Not the most reliable of sources, WoL say we are looking at Coventry mid fielder Zain Westbrooke, 23 years old. 4 goals and 4 assists this season but only 20 Football League appearances overall. Leeds have apparently bid £2m.

Well at least it’s not some PL poseur or that midget Stroud or that follicly challenged porker Hooper.
At least he will get some game time and reduce our wage bill in the short term - not by much though.
