You complain about the use of stats but are incapable of judging Trent's #worldclass performances beyond a simple label of where he fits into a system. Fine, he isn't a fullback at all. He's a box-to-box midfielder playing very wide right.
Really good player imo and could turn out to be a bargain of Carlo can get the best out of him. Good debut.
He's a ****ing handful!. Very good (by and large) using his puppy mat for pissing and ****ting, with only the odd mistake. Murder for picking up bits of crap off the floor, which I have to root out of his mouth, AND he can climb stairs. Obviously can't get down them though. I was on the phone yesterday (work) and the unit was in the bathroom. I heard a few little thuds and knew what had happened, so I ended the call and shot up, only to see him trot into the room. I immediately ordered a gate from Amazon Prime - which isn't arriving until tomorrow As of tomorrow, he can go out for walks, so can piss and **** somewhere else - like the Cheese beer garden
I cant figure if this is supposed to be a joke or not, Hes spent the last few seasons mostly making sure the physios at what ever club he rocked up at where kept busy. Madrid have been touting him about for years until Everton finally came knocking for him and got him for peanuts. He will have one or two stand out games then go off the boil and finally get nice and comfy on the treatment table.
Sorry, what have I said there thats not a matter of record. Apart from the last line which is a prediction based on past performance. I understand your very excited lad, but let's not pretend you've signed a world beater.
Proper luxury player. If you let him stroll around and do his thing he might contribute some good assists and goals. But can’t see him being much use in games where Everton aren’t strong favourites. When he’s needed to track back against walker, TAA for example, not sure would be trusted. reminds me of Ozil. On his day could be brilliant but will be massively inconsistent. There is a reason why both madrid and Bayern didn’t want him, injuries and his performances just not been good enough.
He seemed a good prospect to me a few years back, but there's usually a reason we don't opt for players, I suppose. Who was the other one I fancied? Wilfred Bony. Just as well they don't have me scouting!
Yeah that was demonstrated on Sunday, as we were massive favourites away at Spurs. You’ve obviously studied his play in great detail which is why you mention attacking right backs when he primarily plays on the right as he did on Sunday.
Heaven forbid someone have a bad word to say against an Everton player. You’re right, the guys world class. Bayern and Madrid have made a huge mistake letting him go. Tbh can’t see anyone bar him winning player of the year. I’d get my money on him for balon d’or next season. It’s funny because in the spurs game, he didn’t actually do anything. Got on the ball and played some nice sidewards passes and kept the ball. Nothing that penetrated spurs defence, no decent through balls etc so based on his only performance so far, he hasn’t done anything.
You’re welcome to any opinion you want mate. I merely pointed out the somewhat glaringly obvious issues with your post. That’s sort of how it works.
