Although you do quite happily abuse your power (that you don't use), to create childish threads like you have for a few of us who you disagreed with. The other mods don't do that, and they quite happily share their opinions too, without getting all arsey. A few of us were expecting you to do that again on this thread btw, so fair play for not doing it.
Either way, this thread has largely been interesting reading and it's good to talk.
i have given you my opinion on or defined What i see as a mod and i don't see yourself as a good mod ! so with you saying i am confused about this would be to imply my view is wrong ! And i don't have no confusion over a mods roll i just don't share your opinion !
.
So you have an opinion that bares no resemblance to how this network operates, but yours is the right opinion.
oh for ****s sake .. give it up .... your making a mockery of it if to be honest ... yes it made a point at the time but now it honestly feels like the "old school" fans complaining where as the new gen of fans are quite happy to let rules be rules .. a banner is one thing in the ground (which I support) .. but doing songs and going to pubs within the area will only end in tears as the WYP will happily say afterwards "I told you so" ...
the only song that should matter is "come on city" ... etc etc .. its a football game . not an election ffs

.oh no lets complain about something which cannot be changed If no-one ever stood up for their rights nothing would ever change.
and will have no affect on OUR club long term It would have a positive effect for all supporters long term if it helped to expose and stop police abuse of law-abiding citizens.
.. but hey ho .. your choice .. my choice is get behind our lads on the pitch and stop bitching about something that is so small Why is it small to be treated like a criminal?
in the world of football 90% of people do not care and the other 10% have full control and will not relinquish this control due to the money that the 90% have to pay them So as I said your answer is to get down on your belly and wait to be kicked
It's been a total cluster-**** that as been more than adequately publicised, but the team needs support. I don't think falling of a high-horse of indignation is now an appropriate way to support the promotion drive; some will and some won't but it is a choice of the individual.[/QUOTE]
Of course, that question is begged, but I think there has to be an element of realism. They made a poor decision that was challenged through legitimate lobbying and rational argument, they made some concessions, hardly face-saving one's, but about as good as we would get; anything more would have seriously challenge their credibility.
This level of restriction is not unique, but our collective response has been; we, at both club and national supporters level, have put a very big and easily monitored stake in the ground and we should be proud of that; it would be followed up by clear and decent demonstration, but outside and within the ground - under no circumstances should it infringe the enjoyment of others.
This is now something that should be monitored and resurrected if and when necessary, to detract from our away support is a bit of an empty gesture and will go pretty much unnoticed. All very frustrating, but that's life; unless it is do or die, fight battles you have a chance of winning - one of those battles is promotion; we've made a very strong point, now let's get our eye back on the ball. That's my opinion.
You disappoint me; try reading my post.
I have made it clear that I believe we have achieved all we can in this instance. I have also made it clear that us (and other clubs) can resurrect the protest when it becomes appropriate. What about that is 'talking as if it is all over' or 'giving in far too easily'; I am going to watch with interest the results of your pompous indignation. The national supporters group are quite capable of taking this further, to be fair they have been very quiet over previous similar occurrences and should hang their heads in shame that they have only now become involved.
My bottom line is that you (us) have all made an excellent and dignified stance, it has drawn belated national supporter attention and top level political support - the first job is done; what I now see as futile and self-serving is to carry out the boycott of our away team - it a baby and bath-water thing now.
I don't give up easily, believe me, nor do I like jumped up Johnnies telling me or fellow supporters what we should do. You have my opinion, but I would always support your right to exercise yours, as long as it is legitimate.
Nobody asked or expected you to conform to an opinion. What you did was simply poo poo other opinions without offering your own. By the time you did, I gave little time or credence to your view due to the earlier negativity.
I really don't bear grudges. The threats and abuse some have posted in my in box and on here lay testament to that. A '****' mod possibly wouldn't put up with it. It's wasted on me.
If you read the above posts they more than adequately prove that only did I offer an opinion, I also made the point that I explicitly respected those of others. It is sometimes necessary in debate to show the weakness in opposing views, but what the **** is wrong with that? These posts were very early in the thread and long, many hours, before you started yours claims against me. The board does not lie, read back and then apologise, because you are wrong, simple as.
..........
You're wasting your time Fez...let it go man, just let it go!

No need to post them, they're there for all to see. As I put before, you poo poo'd other opinions but added no solution yourself until later, by which time I just assumed it'd be just more negativity and childish abuse.
You won't change my opinion on your attitude on this thread and I'm not interested in changing yours and I suspect everyone else is bored ****less by it. I'm more than happy for anyone that gives a **** to read it and make their own judgement as they see fit. Not a lot more to be said really. just another thread ****ed up by a feeble pissing contest.![]()
The opinions are there in the early posts, you just won't see them. This isn't a pissing contest, this is you making false allegations and not having the balls to accept you are wrong. It's finished and so is your credibility.
