Tad of an over reaction going on about this imo. Contractor gets told to cover up the Sunderland colours in the designated bar, the lad who did it was a skunk and decided to have a laugh. Should someone from the club been supervising and stopped it straight away? Yes there should. But It's an embarrassing oversight imo, no worse than that. Laugh it off and move on. You can bet for the next derby kid will have someone signing off every little thing done

Imagine if it was the reverse, we'd be laughing our tits off on here and rightly so

Plus, I prefer this to vandalism and horse punching

At least yesterday they rejected the flags they were trying to bring into the away end. Apparently NUFC were pushing hard for that anarl.

Two things were criticised on here that now seem to have been ignored.

Firstly the anti-Saudi display that the club chose not to authorise. If it had provoked a violent response the club could've been punished.

Secondly that staff in the BCB won't have to wear Sunderland regalia which could've provoked a response.

Personally I see both of those aspects to be the actions of a club acting with dignity and professionalism.

That may not sit well with those who see the club as a laughing stock and I don't expect any agreement.

In my opinion that suggests they're happier to criticise the club that praise it.

Maurice has replied to a fan and told them they’re tracking down whoever allowed this. The boy. Parade the f*cker on the pitch before kick off :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm
