It's certainly Parkinson and has been at the club today to take training and meet the squad. No indication what's happening with Fowler and that, I'd assume they're going/gone. Steve Parkin has joined up with Parkinson as his assistant manager.

The media suggesting it's a two horse race between Ainsworth (who I wanted) and Parkinson are massively wrong. Parkinson has it on what I was told, a short real deal which I'm assuming is until the season ends.

How do you know this?

Roker Rapport said him being at training wasn't true.

Why are bookies still taking bets and how much have you lumped on? £500 gets you £100 from Willy Hill

Well further up this page someone posted "I'm starting to wonder if Stewart is intentionally just trying to piss the fans off now, to be honest.". Which of your categories does that fall into?

I do agree it's not as bad as RTG but it was so refreshing to find somewhere much more rational that I don't want to see it deteriorate
Hardly anything inflammatory in that.
Someone throwing the theory out there.
Not really a full on accusation.
People are peeved.
Donald has retreated into his shell.
The recruitment and sacking have been an utter shambles
The takeover/investment hasnt been handled at all well.
These things are being mooted but without the vitriol, abuse and overuse of profanity.
We should be quite pleased with what is happening here.
If donald thought he was going into some sort of North Korean where he is the infallible dear leader well more fool him.
Can't stand the heat etc etc

That is true - Roker Report know as much as the next person
But I do think you are saying things with no foundation here
That is fine. I dont care if you or anyone else for that matter believes me. I was passing on what I was told. Take it or leave it.

I think we'd better get used to the idea now, but ****ing hell, SD does not half drag things out. Over a week to decide who is the worst man for the job and then give him little time to prepare for the next game.

Mt Chuckles (I think it's him?) on RTG is part of GL's social circle, and has often posted stuff that came from him first or second hand.
I'm pretty sure there are others that know players directly.
If he had taken training one of the players would surely have let their mouth go for the past few hours?
No journalists with connections could have kept their gobs shut either?
And given the proclivity for gambling in football clubs surely money would have been placed, the odds would have tumbled and the books closed?

But heisentgotaclue has heard it's true man! A bloke who works at sky told him but omitted to tell his employers. It's an easy mistake for a journalist to make..no really

I don’t understand some people’s fascination with betting odds.
Some rumour comes out, some people lump some money on on the basis of the rumours so the odds drop.
Next thing is he’s ‘nailed on’ to be the next manager, until the next rumour.
Rinse and repeat.
And no I’ve got no clue who the next manager will be but I’m not excited by Parkinson.

Appreciate the info fella. I have been told he 100% did not take training today.

That's from someone very close to a first team squad player.

Although I do believe it is Parkinson that will be announced as manager soon.

We'll find out soon enough mate :emoticon-0148-yes:

You think that the chairman is trying to annoy the fans is a plausible theory?

I think the point here is that if PP had taken training it would have leaked by now to the extent that the bookies would have suspended betting rather than take a hammering. The fact that they're offering odds at all suggests that at least there's still some doubt

So is Heisenberg creating 'uncertainty' or manufacturing crystal meth and smoking it?
