I've watched Italy tonight. They are going to win now, it's 4-2 against Israel, but they could have conceded four of five to a better side.

Italy are in for a play off again. They look miles short.

Just not producing top end players any more.

Bastoni is quality but he’s actually been poor for a while now. After that you struggling.

Barella and Locatelli both decent but nowhere near top end decent. Frattesi is class but he doesn’t play a lot of time.

They really haven’t got anyone that’s exceptional.

EDIT and now it’s 4-4 <laugh>

Bastoni awful tonight mind. Even on draft excluder duty at a free kick.

Aye he’s been shocking for a while. He got absolutely shown up v Barca and PSG last season.

Gattuso has them all over the place too mind. Never seen an Italian team so wobbly at every attack.

Interesting that they see that is his better position, or at least the better position to get into the team.

Wonder if we play him out there this season.
