Injuries

Yes but in relative terms, everything is much cheaper in Greece so his wages are worth more, it's a much better climate with nice weather and sexy Greek women. We can offer him extortionate cost of living, lots of rain and some fat old cow with a yeast problem from Bransholme.

You've sold it to me, where do I sign?

Some ****s though not on here have welcomed Keane's injury typical soft lads on the internet.
Abd Villa are not gonna come back with a 20m bid for Herandez though I wish they would because he isnt Prem quality and never has been.

<laugh> he's not Premier League quality?

You sure about that? Of all the other players in the squad you pick the Uruguayan international who scored a joint bicycle kick on the opening day against the champions.

Well **** he is.

He's never actually had any success in the PL has he? A promising sub appearance against Stoke, and a new years day game against Everton almost two years ago are the highlights.

the only reason he's valued at £20mill is so Allam can justify his valuation of £100 million plus - it's a load of **** that's why the club hasn't sold yet cos everyone else knows that as well

Scoring the winner against Swansea? He's done a lot of hard work for other players, though. I've been happy with his contribution, he's had to drop a level to find confidence at the club, but he's our best striker, by quite some distance in my opinion.

No wonder we never score then.

We'll have Mbokani up front now so this can be an argument for another day. :)

I would like to see both he and Hernandez up front in future, though. Sunderland finally played two up top in Anichebe and Defoe at Bournemouth last weekend and they both scored and generally looked threatening, I think we can do much the same thing with our two up top.

So fill me everyone ........when if ever is it likely that the senior squad player and Hull City player for 2.5 years called Brian Lenihan will play? That is 2.5 years and one single appearance in the Championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a career.

He's back, he played for the U23's against Derby last week.

On the available evidence it really doesnt.

Ah you make a very good point.

Our greatest ever signing Will Keane, who never gets injured and has scored a fraction of the goals in the championship that Abel has in more appearances. Will Keane who looked so out of his depth in the championship Preston fans were happy to send him back.

I'd love to see what available evidence suggests Will Keane should ever be on the pitch instead of Hernandez. Or for any premier league or championship side.

The available evidence is that when Abel has started, it's been no better. Isn't that obvious? I didn't say Keane is better, I said that the evidence shows, which it clearly does, that Sterling's claim "It helps immeasurably if [Abel] isn't sat on the bench in favour of Will Keane." isn't true.

He got the nod at Watford, missed our best chance, set up by Keane incidentally, and a few minutes later we conceded the winning goal.
