I find it laughable that in this day and age that 'educated' people think Rangers played at the weekend. They should be seen, at best, as Aesop's fables for grown ups.
Ranger? So not Rangers then. As you well know, Rangers Football Club changed their name to RFC 2012 and no longer play football. They certainly didn't play any matches this weekend. It is the stuff of Fairy Tale to suggest they did.
What are you on about? My own fairy stories? You do realise I'm not really Mr T and that I am aware The A-Team and Rocky III were fiction?
So you really are saying that any opinions I have about Rangers (not that you know these) in some way negate my opinions on Christianity? As you clearly have neither the mental capacity nor the scientific/theological knowledge to argue you with me you try to make my opinions null and void by using the problems surrounding the team I support. What a joke you are
The great flood was a localised event. The poor folk knew nothing of the greater Earth. When their little patch was inundated and they were driven to high ground, they naturally assumed that the flooding was everywhere. It seems that after the flood, the story just took on bigger and wilder dimentions in the telling. The Earth has not been totally engulfed in water in the last couple of thousand years. Sorry to break the news.
People who believe in all of this mightn't be able to explain why they believe it but they do anyway and it's unlikely they will have their minds changed on an iternet forum. People who don't believe in it are most definitely never going to have their minds changed by people on an internet forum. I was going to say I don't know why they bother arguing but actually it's highly entertaining so i'll just sit back and enjoy it. Carry on
Argue with you? You haven't proposed a single argument other than you think it is silly for people to believe in fairy tales. Interesting that you should air your feelings in peoples relationship with reality on this thread yet remain conspicuously quiet on any thread on the Rangers board about the very real and verifiable fact that they are no longer a football club. So now you understand the nature of the question, what club do you support?
I have stated an opinion on the Bible and Christianity. I have not expressed any facts and nor have I been requested to expand on why I have formed this opinion I have not stated an opinion on Rangers. Nor have I stated an opinion on the EU's new guidance on the import of active pharmaceutical ingredients for use in medicine intended for use in humans. Neither of these subject matters are of any relevance or have helped form my opinion on Christianity and are both as equally unrelated to this thread. To simplify things, because I have not expressed an opinion on one unrelated subject, this means that any opinion I have on any other subject is therefore null and void? Think you're grasping at straws here
Not clutching at straws at all. I think the point is fairly obvious and for some reason you are evading it. I'll simplify this even further for you. Do you also find it laughable that 'educated' people can profess to support Rangers when there is a whole raft of evidence to support the fact that they are no longer a competing club? Do you still class yourself as a Rangers supporter? Do you acknowledge that there are those who accept the 'fairy tale' that Rangers continue on to this day? If the answer is "yes of course, I accept that it is equally laughable" then fine. I'll leave it at that. If not, then you'll have to accept that you are a hypocrite.
That's the most blatantly transparent attempt at getting someone to post porn on here that i have ever seen. Great skills!
