I find it laughable that in this day and age that 'educated' people take the bible literally. It should be seen, at best, as Aesop's fables for grown ups.
I agree to a degree, in that its been changed so much in most cases to ''fit'' however I do think its interesting you use the word ''educated'', simply because you had to be educated to read it and those who could were the ''educated''
All that seawater mixing with the rivers and lakes would have killed all freshwater fish except eels, salmon and trout.
