So Fowler is a self confessed modern man, and feels that Giroud runs Pelle close as the most handsome premier league player. No one remembers the runner up!
I think that's Fowler's way of saying that he's finally become an adult, in the truest sense, instead of lingering around the era of sniggering adolescent.
I think Saints fans mistakenly overlook SD, then are amazed when he gets MOTM (which he got in a couple of papers last Saturday).
I think that number is diminishing these days. There have been a few of us who appreciated his work and skills from the start. He's not showy, and that's his problem and our advantage. Dan [from Kingsland Roar] said he'd be poached by a bigger club one day. Never in a milion years. He goes well under even the professional radar, outside of Southampton [and possibly Villa, Rangers]. Nobody, but nobody, mentions him [except Lambert to MoPo]. But he's hugely appreciated within the club, and that has come out this season, so people are beginning to take a proper look, and approving of what they see.

That's what I would have gone for, with Mane off of the bench as he's not 100%.
