Big Vic in for Cork possibly a surprise. Mind you, it's much of a muchness - I predict a whack between he and Huddlestone at some point.

I can't see - share Fran!

Started by saying that Koeman reckons only Chelsea and City are outstanding...no one else better than Saints. Not one of the panellists argued!! Talked about our movement...how you don't know where Tadic is playing. talked about how solid we are in defence, how exciting in midfield and how good Pelle is. Tiss said how good Koeman is at man management...mentioned how he appointed Fonte as Captain even though he had binned him at Benfica...and how Fonte had been immense this season.

Hull have some good players, however when they get injuries (and like us last season) you notice the quality drops a little when the require the use of some of their back ups.

Considering number 27 is Elmohamady, who usually playing fullback or wing back at best, and number 5 is Chester who is a typical center back, I'm more inclined to think it is a 3-5-2 system, rather than a 4-4-2 system in which Elmohamady would feature as a right winger, and Chester as a right back.

It's not a very symmetrical 3-5-2, probably due to the fact Elmo get forward a lot often then his counterpart on the other side (number 11).

Last year under Pochettino we played with 4 at the back. So I just went to find an average position map from one match, the one against Man United being the first I stumbled upon.

So yeah, it's obviuos we were playing a 2-5-1-2 system. :p

You need to use your common sense. Recognised right and left backs generally play extremely high in 4 at the back in the modern game (depending on who their opponent is, if they are at home etc).

Here is another recent Hull game against Palace.

The Hull poster sticking by his claim they always play 3-5-2 is pathetic.
