Yep, that's a lazy ridiculous statement from Merson alright, whilst simultaneously disrespecting our results and the rest of the team that you would assume he knows something about, being an expert! t**t.
Lawro has predicted us to lose. Just because our run should end at some point.
I don't know all the facts...won't insult Hull by pretending to know how good they are, but I do know how good we are. Hull must be impressive if they have a midfield including players as good as Davis, Schneiderlin, and Tadic. The fact is that Pelle is a Saints player and not a Hull player...you could go through all the teams and pick out a player who is central to their success.
And yet on the same thread...
Did you really pay £12 million for him?
Haha, I stand by that to an extent - the only bit I'd change is that I now pay more attention to Pie as he's stopped posting only in memes.
Hull have done better recently. No, they are not pulling up trees, but look who they've played. We underestimate them at our peril.

Doesn't mean to say we're not going to win though.![]()
Ramirez won't be playing thank goodness as he's been a waste of space and appears clueless when breaking on goal. No pace and easily knocked off the ball.
on his day huddlestone is quality. don't know much more than that.
This reminds me of the story of 'The Emporor's New Clothes'. Many Southampton fans wanted so much for Ramirez to be the brilliant player he was touted to be and as such, they constantly ignored the evidence of their own eyes. Every week there was a new reason why he hadn't quite performed and those of us who didn't see his genius were deemed footballing idiots.
Of course he has skill and even flashes of brilliance, but he has consistently failed to translate that into being a good footballer.
Just shown chart on Sky that shows Forster is the leading keeper with regards to clean sheets and shots to stops ratio....though the former reflects the defence in general. Now I have to admit that I was having a bit of a wobble about Forster. I think it is because he doesn't dominate in a crowded penalty area the way Schmeichel and Niemi did. But on the other hand, Hart flaps as well, so it may be a case of expecting the impossible...no errors at all.
