Easy to say when he’s in a crossing position and only has a marked Campbell to aim for. He put plenty of good crosses in today and nobody gambled in them. He doesn’t shoulder all the blame by any means.

I didn't go so aren't commenting on today.

In his time with us he has very often makes wrong decisions. The other week Preston's late equaliser came minutes after Kamil had had a 1 on 1 chance going clean through the middle, 40 yards from goal. Instead of keeping his head and finishing the game off he tried a side-footed shot from 35 yards which ended up being as threatening as a backpass. Ended up costing us 2 points. He's undoubtedly talented, but extremely unreliable and the main reason is the poor choices he makes. This feels like an excessively negative post following an excellent win but I'm explaining the point I made earlier, soz.

Good performance today, and a good atmosphere
Irvine was right up for it and I thought was MoM. He certainly broke their play up and then took us forward
Elphick was solid
Campbell was his usual busy self and I think that really helps. When Martin came on we completely lost that (he looks slower than me!)
Grosicki was good, even if his last ball was dodgy. No idea what his ballooning efforts at floating it into the far corner were about. Looked like he’d tried it once in training and it worked so assumed it would work again...it didn’t.
Batty was good
Henriksen had a few nice touches, but he still frustrates me.
Anyway important win and it was good to stay and applaud the team when they genuinely looked happy and fired up (and Henriksen was making sure they all came over too)
Good stuff

Sir Nigel Adkins with Reece Burke obviously.

Sounds like an all-around good performance, and credit to them all for starting to turn narrow losses into narrow wins. We still need to be taking more of the chances we have, but at least we seem to be improving. Nice to heard Irvine had a good game and this 3 man mid-field with Batty/Henriksen and Irvine seems to be gelling into an effective unit. Also great to see Campbell keep scoring, he needs to start every game. De Wijs seems to be finding his feet, and it was only cramp that brought him off, so fortunately not an injury as such.

If that means I followed through and **** myself in Berlin. Then yep it happened.
Carmine will be jealous as ****.

I **** myself in Berlin.

I shat myself in Berlin.

Babbing in Berlin.

The Berlin Runs.

I need a title for my new Cold War thriller about a over-cautious spy caught on the wrong side of the antifacist bulwark in the early 1960s.

Ta.

Ditto. I thought Irvine was the best player on the pitch. He was excellent.

Grosicki is so frustrating , he could be so key at this level but his decision making and final product is so poor at times . Yes he put in a couple of decent crosses yesterday but must have wasted another 10/12 opportunities , in most games won't get that many chances and need to be more clinical , he keeps trying to put the ball in the box with the outside of his foot when he should have just ran past the full back every time , actually can't believe how poor WBA were at the back . We do always look more dangerous with him in the side tho as we get from one end of the pitch to another so much quicker .

WBA were shocking. I expect they thought they just had to turn up to take 3 points. They can’t surely be that bad every week.

A lot of the WBA players looked to be carrying a bit of extra weight- Livermore in particular looked massive. That long haired centre half for WBA was about the worst I’ve seen.

I agree. The long heard centre back was the worst I've seen.
Then again long hair doesn't suit everyone.
He wasn't a very good footballer either.

Good performance all-round. They seemed to just have a bit more confidence and belief.
Very good to see them stay for the applause.
Onwards and upwards
