1-0 Forest. A gruesome half way line mistake by Adam Curry punished on the break.

Milinkovic watch - quiet.

Hang your head in shame if you thought it was appropriate to commemorate the centenary of the end of the slaughter and carnage of the First World War by light applause.

Did some really do that?

I saw the minutes silence before the Bournmouth v Man Utd game, impeccably observed.

It felt as though the cloud of misery was starting to lift. Atmosphere was much improved. The players put in loads of effort: we just lack talent in some areas. The game management of the second half was brilliant.

Yep - best atmosphere in a long while, like we ground out a result through superior mental strength and character.

Been a while since we did that- and against a decent team too.

You bet they did.

The poor old feller reading "They shall not grow old" more or less got it out but when he did

When you go home, tell them of us and say
For their tomorrow, we gave our today.

That was drowned out by the end of '...home'.

I think it just confused people the way it's carried out, with the last post and then the refs whistle which sounds like the end of things, when actually it's the beginning of the silence. It seems to happen every year.

Some people are just too thick to follow the clear and simple instructions they were given. However, I got the distinct impression that the applause kicked off mainly in the visitors' section before our home grown morons joined in.
