Any word on what face Allsop pulled when Ömür missed his sitter to win us the game?
You cant compare that though can you

Keepers mistakes are always more costly
Thats the nature of the whole game

Daft comparison

And while he should have scored
Its not a sitter when theres the keeper to beat

Coyle looked incredibly awkward all during the half he played. Clear as daylight. Likely a mixture of him being a RB playing LB (or more accurately, left side of a 3 which it was for the most part) and him clearly not being fit.
So, playing a(n injured) RB at LB and moving a Midfielder to play at RB, whilst also making it a mix between a back 3 and 4 was less ****ing things around than playing a CB at CB, a RB at RB and Greaves at LB? Ok, got it.
Could also have played Christie who is a RB at RB rather than go with an injured RB at LB.
Such a **** up it's hard to keep up with it!! .... edit, so much so that I forgot to add bringing on an injured / clearly not right LB in place of the RB playing at LB..
Brady is right, Rosenior clearly doesn't rate McLoughlin. Better to **** everything around and start with injured out of position players instead. Rosenior genius.

Maybe Macca is pissed about not getting on V TWS a few games ago - and is refusing to play? Clearly Rosie doesn't rate him and I would be surprised if he was here next season

Can anyone remember the name of that poster that would always mention a bumming? Need his return to cheer us up

I think it's true that he doesn't rate McLoughlin. The rest of your post is a weird twisting of what happened. We didn't move a midfielder anywhere. Slater started the last game at RB and no one had an issue with it, he stayed there last night. Last night Jacob was unavailable so Coyle came straight in for him. One straight swap, there was no messing about or moving people around. What you have suggested would've involved moving people around.

I don't think it's just that he doesn't rate him, Macca is incredibly slow for how we wanted to play. Stick him in a side that defends with a low block often at this level and he'll look great (as he did for us)

Had a great career before and after playing for us. Ask any fans of his other clubs or Scotland and they'd rave about him. He made PL team of the season at one point FFS. He became a target here for conceding 6 at Liverpool and a few other high scores early on and people never liked that he took Jakupovic's spot. It was ****ing stupid.

Marshall wasn’t great but Allsop makes him look like Yashin.

if we'd beaten the ****e brum and stoke
everyone would be saying yesterday was a great point even though we could have won it

what a game though, i honestly prefer watching the championship over the prem
That's the exact issue, the damage was done months ago failing to beat teams at home such as Birmingham, Swansea, Sunderland and Stoke. As people have said when we play the better teams we have more space to play and will get more chances. Our manager needs to be less stubborn and accept his 'system' won't work against everyone. We don't have a plan B.

Last night was a great game of football and ended a fair result. If we are entertained like that every week I genuinely wouldn't care what league we are in. It was brilliant to watch.

Rosenior doesn’t rate McLoughlin but gave him a new three-year deal at the end of last season lmao. McLoughlin’s always been slow and moves like an oil tanker. This isn’t some revelation this season. If he doesn’t fit in with Rosenior’s playing style then why did he extend his contract?

He's cheap

He can do a certain job. I think clearly he isn't trusted to play in certain games, particularly when we're playing high and man-marking, as we usually do against better sides. Against the division's dross he's more trusted. If he's happy to be here as a backup on that basis then it's great. If he wants more games, then that makes the 3-year deal look less of a good idea for all involved. Only time will tell I suppose. But he signed it and I'm sure his standing was made clear to him at the time.
