Chris Sutton says it all: the players are arsing about (or words to this effect). They are clearly putting very little effort into playing. All the voices making comments about the situation is so much b*llocks.

His actual words were "some players". I didn't see the game, so I've no idea who he was referring to, but over the season so far, nobody could accuse e.g. Sara or Rowe of lack of effort; nor can I imagine Jaden Warner being guilty of lacking effort on his full League debut!

Yesterday Stacey was the only stand out performer but playing so high up the pitch left acres of space to run into.
McLean made some great runs setting up attacks but , Hernandez & Giannoulis usually miscontrolled or ended up playing a poor ball behind the attackers & we looked short of bodies as they countered.
Hwang put in a shift but usually picked up the ball in wide areas .

Duffy seemed to play so high up the pitch that a stray pass put them straight in to run at the keeper.

The centre backs rarely seemed to be where they are supposed to be , centrally defending.

Blackburn played without a striker so overpowered our midfield as they kept rotating which we failed to deal with.

3-0 down & Idah didn't come on which was crazy & we ended the game with Placheta at left back , McLean & Warner as central defenders & ironically Placheta spent most of the time in decent attacking positions on the left with good passes from McLean who spent most of the time in Central midfield.

Looked like a total clusterfuck & difficult to blame 10 games without winning on the loss of Handley Barnes & Sargent.

The bargain basement players are looking like they can't cut it at this level .

If Webber signed them all then he needs to share responsibility.

The fans actually stayed with the
team who actually started trying when Blackburn got a red card but it was too little too late.

Wagner's commitment to trying -- generally unsuccessfully -- to compress play into the opposition third, requires the CBs to hold a high line, otherwise too much space is left between the lines. At what point does he give up on the idea that the answer is to keep on doing it, only better? If he isn't going to give up on it, someone else has to.

IMO we've ended up with the same situation we had with Farke - the players are simply not good enough to make the system work, even in the Championship. Duffy has some good moments, but he's also made goal surrendering mistakes time and time again while Batth sits on the bench. Hernandez also had a poor match.

The times they are a changing:

"Following a meeting with the club's board of directors, Norwich City can announce a revised start date for incoming sporting director Ben Knapper. Ben will now commence work in his role as the club’s new sporting director at the Lotus Training Centre from Monday, November 13. The club’s existing sporting director, Stuart Webber, will vacate his position following Norwich City’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Cardiff City on Saturday, November 11."

Here's something to send shivers up our spines:

"The club’s hierarchy have already drawn up a list of potential replacements. TEAMtalk can exclusively reveal that one name high on the shortlist list is former Everton boss and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard."

Didn't he once say when we went for him before, that we were "Not a Big Enough Club" for him?

With annual losses of £27m despite selling 3 of our best Academy graduates & a squad of misfits sitting in 17th .

Don't see the American throwing money about in January, beggers can't be choosers.

If I read it right, the money from Aarons, Omobamidele, Mumba and Rashica will be counted in this year's budget, which, along with salary savings, should be more than enough to cover last year's £27m loss.

My point being , the new head coach & new Sporting Director won't have tons of money to spend .

Wagner is going to be paid off & the new coach will cost money .

The new manager will have to get something from the squad & Academy.

I personally think there's a decent team out of those players .
