You forgot Salem's Lot. Still my favourite.I like a bit of Stephen King.
Carrie, Pet Sematary, The Shining, Misery.
They are all pretty good.
Not my favourite genre though I will admit.

The scariest thing I've ever seen is me in a mirror
that avatarIgnoreI was only a young man, but I remember The Exorcist scared some people into running out of the cinema,
It's about time they did a horror with big actors again.

Didn't realise it was that old
I remember being at my cousins house and watching it in the late 80's
Watched evil dead too and we only got a copy as my cousins mate ran a video shop at the time. It was banned too as apparently people had died or something watching it
The are comedies now, but I remember we made my cousins brother watch it as he was being a twat and he had nightmares for years
I worked in a video shop back in the day. Best job ever. 11-8, 7 days a week, they got **** all trade as Blockbuster were undercutting everyone (I was delighted when those ****ers finally went pop), £3 an hour and a little bit of a poster selling business on the side. c.£200 a week cash in hand and pub friendly working hours. I also used to get chatted up by the local single mums who just wanted a no commitment shag. I was 18 and thought they'd eat me alive so stuck to girls my own ageA video shop....haha...now that's a blast from the past. Asian uncle? Half of it must have had Bollywood stuff on the shelves lol...video shop.
