We have booked Antalya in Turkey for a week all inclusive.

Just wonder how much cash would be good to take? We obviously want to do a few excursions while we are they.

Don't take any just use an ATM

....actually there's not a lot of difference, which also brings in Ibiza. Somewhere we've wanted to go to. Anyone know best fairly quiet resorts in Ibiza?

Last time I was pissed in Austria was the summer of '63 when we climbed this when it was under construction.
Needed to be non corpus mentis to venture up top when there was no snow around !

South Pacific was actually filmed in Hawaii, there’s claims that some beach scenes were reshot in Ibiza, but there’s a suspicion that it was a 60’s ploy to get tourists to visit.

Well that’s what we’re going for so hopefully they enjoy it. The hotel we have is pretty nice so might treat myself to some me time.

Taking the kids to Peppa Pig World.

If you are near Salisbury & it's a nice day, a lot of kids like Old Sarum, the site of the original Salisbury. It's a hill with concentric ditches, all grassed over and great for running about & exploring. Not much else there except the odd ice cream van, but great for burning off excess energy.

I’m back snowboarding for first time since before Covid
So good to be back out here and see everything opened back up.
Apart from needing a proper (FFP2?) mask in the airport and shops, everything else is normal.
Snow is in great condition

So where do you go when you want advice about absolutely anything? Obviously Not606.
I'm after some recommendations for a 10 day break in the sun in May. Has to be by the beach and somewhere fairly quiet (ie old fishing village).
Mrs A is struggling with mini back fractures due to chemo this time last year. Therefore need to keep the journey as short as possible, especially the flight and the transfer. Ideally from Donny or Leeds but possibly East Midlands and at a push, Manchester.
Since we last went away in 2019, she has battled cancer twice so deserves a break and hoping to just relax in the sun on a sandy beach, possibly with water sports/golf close by for me and nearby bars restaurants. We like the Greek Isles, and looking for something similar, but nearer.
We're thinking The Algarve (which we know), but would like to look at Southern Spain.
Any recs?

Thanks for your recommendations chaps. Bizarrely, Urika we've actually booked Portinax, reassuring that you've recommended it!!! Didn't know about the South Pacific. The reviews claim the Bounty advert was filmed there too. but Google reckons it was Crete.
