We have been watching Monty Don. Venice last week and tonight he is Croatia.
Ric mentioned Lanzarote in a post.

I loved Venice and adore Croatia. But my favourite holidays have been In Lanzarote. Not the best, but if I could, I would live in Playa Blanca.

This year for obvious reasons, I will now not be going abroad. My dive trip to Sweden will not be possible. Instead we are going as a family to Centre Parcs, staying in a four bedroom executive lodge.

We have stayed in some fantastic hotels and resorts.

So please indulge me with a bit of sunshine.

No showing off, just say where I should think about going.

I’m off to Strasbourg by train at February half term. QPR, Paris, Strasbourg, Paris, London, Peterborough. If that doesn’t get me omicron then I’m invincible for certain.

I like Paris, prefer it to London.
    Not been to Strasbourg though.

F52FA105-21FF-4DD6-A3D8-4D3218C0DC10.jpeg Puerto Portals is my little bit of heaven. The home port for my yacht. Been a frustrating 2 years, only managed 3 weeks on her since the various restrictions.
We still need to arrange a Not606 boat trip!!!

I've been to Morocco couple of times for winter sunshine. Marrakesh for busy city life, Essaouira for more relaxed time and seaside.

    Go everywhere.
If you get the chance, just go.
I'm trying to get to everywhere before I shuffle off.
    Doing quite well so far.
    Don't die wondering.

Enjoy city breaks more as I've aged and appreciate an art and culture fix, anyway managed to do Madrid and Barcelona in recent years, both well worth a few days and good options for an out of season break.

It’ll be 3 years in May since our last holiday. Used to aim for 3 a year.

Same as TOM, it will have to be something within these shores this year, if we get away.

I took another exam tonight, the study etc has helped take my mind off things a bit. Just a couple of dives to do plus a rescue management exercise. I will have to do a bit more walrus mating! IMG_3517 2 resize.jpg

And yes, I may need an escape anytime soon... Thanks.
