If you're referring to what Tel said then no, I've never noticed. I pay very little attention to your posts as they tend to be nitpicking drivel.
I would read all of your 'txt' if you bothered to write it properly, like everybody else does! You said there's no international experienced goal scoring egg... not sure why the egg, but whatever, anyway just 'cos Rooney's not playing as a striker it doesn't mean he won't score, does it? You're attempting to say Defoe is proven and the rest aren't... it's nonsense, it's biased rabble. They've all got incredible natural talent (as does Defoe)... we'll not regret taking him, even if we go out in the groups, he doesn't guarantee England anything.
This is exactly why I'm wasting my time in my simple quest for people to use even decent (not perfect) grammar . . . . 'cos some either don't want to understand, or just don't Consequently, I'm the one that's wrong 'cos I care
Gordon's one of the good ones mate, he's just passionate about spelling and grammar innit, bloody geek.
I've never liked him but I'm sure he's a nice bloke in the real world, when he isn't adopting his forum persona.
You know that it's possible to take care with what you write and respect the English language without getting everything correct all the time don't you?
He's right G, some people aren't as well informed as thou, when it comes to attention to detail, it doesn't mean they should be made to look a nugget when they fluff on here. I admire your persistence in a way but sometimes people are gonna give you **** for it, self inflicted **** gets no sympathy mon frere.
You're despicable Thinking back to my initial whinge . . . . I didn't mean it to be that serious anyway
Now that the English conversation has ended I'll revert back to the OP (although I think the thread's gone)... I believe in taking the best possible squad to the tournament. In my opinion that should be the squad that's most in form and fittest, naturally they have to be International quality as well. If Jermaine Defoe isn't included then so be it, I won't cry about it or make biased comments because he's an SAFC player. (Cue Gordon to get his fine tooth comb out and go though this post)
Theres still life in the old girl yet¡¡ *Get's defibrillator's out*... I¬m actually not too fussed about Defoes inclusion -> in an earlier thread I said I could see both points of view;; I,ve now changed my mind though- based on the fact Sturridge is injured AGAIN=he should be left at home now imo~ This thread was really just to highlight Roy's flawed reasoning for ignoring Jermain {i.e. that he"s nothing more than a goal poacher}.,! P.S. Have fun with that lot @Gordon Armstrong
I'm sure he'll be spontaneously combusting just reading it mate!! I'm not massively bothered about him not being in either. I'd leave Sturridge and take Rashford personally. That match tonight did nothing to excite me or make me look forward to the Euro's as an England fan. Think our problems are at the other end of the pitch and whether Defoe was in or out of the squad that isn't changing any time soon!!
Me neither, I didn't see a lot of it but what I did see didn't inspire me. Pleased for Rashford having a good debut but this lot isn't convincing me. We should drop all the primadonnas like Sturridge and Sterling and play some people who are actually hungry for it and not concerned with how their tattoos look on tv.
Just a bunch of little posers going through the motions. Few of them look like playing for England means anything to them. Rashford though, he looked delighted. We need more of him.
I can assure you, mate. He doesn't change or act differently when he comes on here. He's a cock in real life, too
