Can't ****ing stand the England team & hope they get knocked out in the group stage.
Had no time for them since 2004.
Couldn't give a flying fanny.
Yep - absolutely., 100% this!

Wonder if Hodgson knows where the stadium of light is for tonights game or if he's watching it from afar! Pretty sure the ****er's never been there as England manager!

He mentions about Jermain pissing off to America and the fact they've been building the squad for the last 2 years, which I get. However, he then goes on to say...

“We have put our eggs into their basket. I saw no reason why I should break one of those eggs and take a fresh egg into the basket, especially as we’re talking about a player who’s well over 30 years of age and has a certain style of play.

“We’re really looking forwards to the people who are more akin to (Jamie) Vardy and (Wayne) Rooney himself and Sturridge (and) Rashford.

“That’s what we’re looking for, rather than the player who’s very good in the penalty box as a finisher.”

Clearly he's barely watched Defoe this season. He's played the lone striker really well, there is a lot more to his game than just finishing in the penalty box - that's a description of Darren Bent.

Admittedly he's never going to bully defenders or play little knock-downs for the midfield to run onto, but neither are any of the others mentioned with the possible exception of Rooney. His logic is flawed.

In my (perhaps biased) opinion, he should 100% be going ahead of Sturridge (crock) and Rashford (inexperienced).
He's not got an internationally experienced goalscoring egg now - got a feeling we'll struggle for the goals that our "double yoker" would provide.
I really want us to do well after our near perfect qualification but we often fall short against competitive & determined quality teams.

I've seen you write that a few times now, you've lost the plot mate.

You talk as if we're taking Danny Graham and leaving Defoe at home, Harry Kane has scored 64 goals in little over 18 months.

I don't actually want Defoe to go as I'd rather he focused on us but it does feel like we could have the top eleven English players at Sunderland and it would be twelve through twenty two that would start for England.
What the ****'s 'twelve through twenty two' . . . . stupid American bastards ruining our language, and some copy the idiots <doh>

I think Nacho used to, or still does live over there? No excuse in your book I'd imagine.

No I don't, it was just a phrase that came to mind. I'd forgotten that there's a tedious pedant lurking around waiting to pounce.

Or a smart-ass douchebag if he'd prefer.

None whatsoever :emoticon-0145-shake . . . . we're English and we should speak English (not 'stupid' like the Mercans do) :emoticon-0105-wink:

You're part of a dying breed mate, not many people give a **** any more.

There's a few common ones that wind me up, but times are changing Mandingo, y'all better get used to it.

I certainly am, unfortunately . . . . nee ****er seems to give a toss about grammar now (as we've discussed before) :emoticon-0101-sadsm

p.s. you mean 'there are a few common ones' (not 'there's a few') <whistle>

W h a t : chill man <doh> - I did mention our lack of current international experienced goalscorers - before you respond with Rooney - he'll not be playing as a forwrd - read all my txt not your selectively highlighted bit.
