I'm not so much an 'Arsene Knows Best' person, but more of an 'Arsene Knows a Lot More Than You' type of person :)

I also have no patience for people that come onto our board and have absolutely nothing positive to say about the club. If you can't see how that can piss off other fans, then you are stupid as ****e. The thing is that I don't think you are stupid and are doing it on purpose, ie; being a wum.

All that said, I will try harder not to bite at your trolling & wums from now on. No promises, but I will try. :)

If Arsenal have actually raised their bid for Suarez to £35m that would suggest the Higuain move is definitely in doubt, no way they'd buy both...

If Arsene knows better than all of us, then what is the point of this and/or any other forum? This is a place for debating and giving our opinions, if you don't like it that is fine, no need to get so tetchy and abusive. Just debate maturely in the future <ok>

    Misquoting again?

Listen, many people make negative comments about aspects of our club and they do not get called out for them. It is those like you that have absolutely nothing positive to say about Arsenal that get a bit of stick. If you refuse to differentiate between the 2 types of poster, I can't force you. What I can do (I hope) is stop attacking you, which I have already said I will try to do.

Sounds about right, Barry is certainly a Lidl own brand footballer

We don't need a budget brand in our midfield

Barry may not be as bad as some think.
He is ready made, premier lge experienced and will need no adjusting, granted he would come behind the likes of Higuain and Cesc on anyones wishlist but I think we've bought worse in the last 2/3 years.
It wasn't that long ago a number of fans were calling for us to sign Joe Cole....

If we're after a budget DM, i'd much rather get Flamini than Barry. At least Flamini is free, and knows the Wenger methods.

I've never wanted us to sign Joe Cole, or Scott Parker who some people thought we missed out on when the spuds signed him - and I don't want Gareth Barry either. I'm not opposed to an experienced holding MF player coming in, but not Barry for me.

That would probably be the sensible and thoughtful view, however there are Arsenal fans who do not view things with such consideration, they have seen clubs spend billions over the years and want us to do the same regardless of who the players are and whether they will improve the team.
Thankfully I can remember when we were so **** that when the team news confirmed that Martin Hayes or Chris Whyte had recovered from injury it was a relief...

Martin Hayes scored some very good and important goals from MF for us, always liked him.

Barry is past it, 5 years ago he would have been a good signing but not now. Arteta is miles better than him and he is not even a natural holding player. I really don't believe we are interested in him, apart from him being completely average, he is probably on very high wages at City and unless he is taking a massive pay cut, I know Wenger would be more tempted to gamble on younger players like Kongdobia or Capoue.

Martin Hayes was a class C player in 1986 and if he was playing now he would be unclassified...
