Monreal and Cazorla are not going on the Asia tour.

That's it, its all over. The season ends in disaster! They will be disintegrated... ?? unintegrated...? deintegrated...? anyway, they will not be integrated into the team and they will not be able to complete a pass for the entire season, because they are not going on the Asia tour.

What is Wenger thinking letting them play in the damn confederation cup!? Does he know nothing about management?

Didn't he know that if a player misses the preseason PR tour to Asia the season is a write off. None of the other clubs are letting their players rest after the Confederation cup or the U20 championships are they?

Luckily, Spurs new signing that Paul guy is also missing their pre-season tour. So they will not finish above us. He has no chance of integrating with them.

What are you on about, PSF's are all about getting match fit,the passing ,etc is done pre-season ,before the tours,Monreal,Carzola, and Paulinho will be alright, and Wenger can't stop his players,if called up for their national side

There really is no debate on this board any more, it's all sniping or pages of comments of fake anger and in jokes.

Anyone who questions what the club are doing, or why they aren't making progress is thrown to the lions with "you don't know what the club are doing!"

There are a few genuinely interesting posters on here who's opinions I look out for and respect, like TheBear & SJW, but unfortunately they are so few & far between.

Toledo just wrote 5 full paragraphs with absolutely no point other than to make fun of other posters, some of whom have concern about the slow progress of the club in the transfer window and its implications for next season and the ability to mount a title challenge. And you wonder why people have left.

Cazorla has had a year to integrate and Monreal has had 6 months. Also, why would Spurs' actions be anything other than misguided?

It is always better when new players have time to acclimatize by playing pre-season friendlies alongside their new team-mates. That way they don't have to adjust during the season. Sometimes that isn't always possible (e.g. for January signings), and sometimes a few of their team-mates are missing from the friendlies, but there really shouldn't be any debate about whether it's better to do this or not.

It seems like a lot of oneupmanship is going on which is a shame. This is a forum for debating and giving opinions, not abusing and looking down at people who don't think the same way as you. Oh well.

Hmm that's interesting, because there didn't seem to be much trouble before you turned up.

He might come back for one season as a novelty signing at the end of his career like Henry, but i that's the only time i can see it happening

I totally agree with you. What people forget about us having the first option on resigning him is that if he wanted to leave Barca he would have to want to join us.It's alright saying that Barca have to offer Fabregas to us first but if he didn't want to join us the "first option" thing would mean **** all

The major problem is we have very little to debate. There is no news on the transfer front which is starting to piss us all off as we are all hoping for big things this transfer window. We are all commenting on rumours we see in the press or the crap that is being posted by so called ITK's on Twitter. We are now at the point of hearing Fabregas is about to return because someone posted on Twitter that the club shop is susposedly not selling shirts with number 4 on the back

Stop following me around and disagreeing with me for the sake of it then. You can -rep me, abuse me, delete me, dislike me, start lies about me and have your 'private' jokes about me all you want, I will not sink to your level. I am here to discuss Arsenal, nothing else. /End

Yawn, ok, I am sorry for giving my football related opinions. From now on I will try and conform with the rest to spare them the hassle of debating.

'Thrown to the lions' seems a bit much - it's a legitimate counter argument. Can any of us really say what steps the club are taking regarding transfers, and how hard they are working at it? No doubt plenty of us have an opinion on the matter, but mines is that we simply don't know.

Agreed. All any of us can do is speculate on the meagre scraps of info - bullshit or otherwise - from spurious sources.
