This result had a huge element of luck about it, not disputing that. These were the games we were losing by the same margins last season, so great to see it turned around. As for the 10 men again, it's what happens when opposition managers are more about their teams asserting themselves physically rather than through their footballing ability!! Sadly it's a style that some managers find works well and keep rolling it out....

You're right about the luck in your game and I'm glad you're not disputing it - that would blow any argument you have out of the water.

The comment about a manager asserting the physicality of his side is an argument frequently used to by others to justify a loss. Our Bogle got sent off against you because of a one off rush of blood - it was nothing to do with "physicality" during the game. In fact your Marlon Pack should have already have been sent off by then for two blatent yellow card tackles - but he got away with it and then Bogle got (rightly) sent off - c'est la vie.

What comes around goes around and to claim (as many do) that we don't play football and only batter teams to get a result is ridiculous. It's trotted out usually in a search to excuse a loss by other managers and fans.

I don't recall citing Cardiff as one of those teams - but clearly you feel it, so if the cap fits and all that!!! Plus we won the games where opposition players committed nasty, potential career ending 2 footed lunges on our players, so no need from us to justify a loss.

Supcon - I didn't say that you "justified a loss". How could I when you clearly took the 3 points off us and Sheffield Utd, albeit against both sides that were playing with 10 men in the second half. I said some opposition managers and fans do, particularly Santo/Wolves and Farke/Norwich - read what I said before jumping to conclusions.

And as for you not personally citing Cardiff as being one of those teams - what a load of tosh. All you've done on your board is moan about Warnock and his methods - at least be honest on here.

Warnock has got this side in the right frame of mind for a typical Championnship season - and that includes battling when necessary mixed in with a fast counter attacking game.

Of course many out there see that as sacrilige to the beautiful game - we'll worry about tackling that aspect when we get out of the division. At the moment, Warnock is bang on the money.
